Welcome to the Weston United Methodist Church web site.

The great founder of our connection, John Wesley, once proclaimed: "I want to know one thing - the way to heaven; how to land safe on that happy shore." It is with that same conviction that we at Weston United Methodist Church reach out to our community and to one another in the hope that all will come into a transformed relationship with God. We believe that the Bible is Holy Scripture as it reveals what is necessary for salvation. We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as objective realities that validate the identity of our Lord.

If you are looking for a community of faith in which to glorify God, grow in spiritual maturity, and to fellowship with those who are also "on the way of salvation", Weston United Methodist Church is for you. I hope that at Weston UMC you will discover what it means to know God and experience his love as we continue to faithfully proclaim the "good news" of Jesus Christ. 

We are beginning a new series on Relationships in September and tying it to King David. David was the most loved King by God that all other Kings would be compared to throughout the monarchies of Israel and Jerusalem. We will learn from David’s successes and mistakes when it comes to relationships; if you want to become familiar with our scripture text than I would encourage you to read 1st and 2nd Samuel.

On Sunday, Sept. 19th we will start up youth gatherings again on Sundays. We are working on giving the Pool Hall a new look and a new name. On the 19th we will have a kick-off event in order to debut the new Youth Area. We are working on having a lip sync concert that night with prizes for the best contestants.

After the 19th we will begin a new small group format for our youth time. We will split the groups up by age and have age based discussions that way. We are doing a retreat on Oct. 15th and 16th (Friday and Saturday) so make sure to put those dates on your calendar. Bring lots of friends and a desire to learn about faith starting September 19th!
