Sermons in February
In February we will have multiple speakers and topics. Rev. Pete Grayum will be back with us the first week. Pete was Pastor of Weston UMC five years ago and offered seven years of leadership. We will have a fundraiser luncheon for the mission trip to Guatemala that same day. Pete will share about his experiences with missions and challenge us to live missional lives. The second week, our Lay Speaker, Pat Norman will talk to us about the importance of scripture in the life of a believer. As we approach the season of Lent, Pat will offer us a Lenten challenge well worth committing to.
On the third week of February, Pastor Jim will begin the Lenten Sermon Series entitled, "Hero". The series will take us all the way through Easter. The whole series will happen in three segments. The first segment is entitled "Darkness Prevails", the second segment is "The Enemy Attacks" and the third is "A Hero Must Arise". This series represents the spiritual movement of Lent from sin and repentance to conquest and celebration!
